I-VMS Update
The Marine Management Organisation (MMO) has confirmed that, owners of under-12 metre English fishing vessels fitted with Succorfish SC2 devices will be able to register for a replacement Nemo device from CLS UK Ltd (previously Fulcrum Maritime Systems Ltd).
Those eligible must register by 11:59pm on Sunday 12 July 2026.
The devices will be provided and installed at no cost to eligible fishermen who register by the deadline.
Eligible vessel owners have been contacted directly by the MMO via letter and email, with instructions on how to register. Once registered, devices will be issued and CLS UK Ltd will make contact to arrange installation by an approved engineer.
For now, all devices should remain installed and switched on, and enforcement of the licence condition for I-VMS will remain measured and pragmatic
If you believe you are eligible but do not receive a registration notice, or if you have any queries, please contact the MMO I-VMS team at ivms@marinemanagement.org.uk or 01900 508618 (Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm).
