Cromer Shoal Chalk Beds MCZ Management Update

A management update for the Cromer Shoal Chalk Beds MCZ has been published for those fishing within the area, to advise of the existing, proposed, and voluntary measures currently in effect in the area.

These measures are intended to protect the chalk beds and their associated habitats while supporting a sustainable local fishery. An Adaptive Risk Management (ARM) approach is being applied, meaning management is reviewed and adjusted as new evidence becomes available.
