Defra guidance published

Defra have published a series of guidance documents, aimed at IFCAs and containing advice on implementing various aspects of the new role. This includes discussion of risk-based enforcement, how IFCAs contribute to sustainable development and “evidence based” marine management – as well as administrative matters such as reporting, accounting and byelaw-making.
