Exciting opportunity to manage inshore fisheries and conservation in the Eastern IFCA
The Marine Management Organisation (MMO) is looking to recruit two members for the Eastern Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authority (IFCA).
Eastern IFCA needs members who will take a balanced approach to caring for our seas, assessing the priority and importance of all users and stakeholders. The vacancies are an opportunity for someone who wants to improve the quality of the inshore area.
Interest is welcomed from those who have experience and interest in commercial fishing; the marine environment; or with other relevant interest and experience. In addition, applicants from Suffolk would be particularly welcome.
More information, including how to apply, can be found on the MMO website at the following link: https://www.gov.uk/government/news/exciting-opportunity-to-manage-inshore-fisheries-and-conservation–2
The deadline for applications to the MMO is 12:00 Thursday 31 May 2018
Please note that the MMO are responsible for appointing local people with relevant expertise to IFCA committees and that Eastern IFCA does not play any part in the process.
