Wash Fishery Order Mussel Relaying Fishery 2022 Closure

As stated in the Wash Dredge Mussel and Wash Hand-work Mussel Re-laying Fishery Licence Conditions, The Wash Fishery Order 1992 Mussel re-laying fisheries will close at 23.59 on 10 September 2022.

Eastern IFCA will be starting the annual mussel stock survey at the end of September 2022. So as to enable an effective stock assessment, it is necessary to close the fishery during the survey work.
