Wash Training Course Dates announced

In order to be named on a Wash Cockle and Mussel Permit as a permit holder or skipper, you must have attended a Wash Training Course.  The purpose of these training courses is to provide fishermen with an understanding of how stock assessments are carried out, how and why Habitat Regulation Assessments are carried out and an overview of the rules and the Code of Best practice. The course will last between 2 and 2.5 hours and will include a refreshment break.

If you have previously attended this course, you do not need to again this year.

 

Training courses are being held in one location over two different days as follows:

1000hrs – 1200hrs on Tuesday 12 May 2026 – King’s Lynn Eastern IFCA Offices (Unit 6 North Lynn Business Village, Bergen Way, King’s Lynn, PE30 2JG)

1400hrs – 1600hrs on 13 Wednesday May 2026 – King’s Lynn Eastern IFCA Offices (Unit 6 North Lynn Business Village, Bergen Way, King’s Lynn, PE30 2JG)
