Whelk Managment Measures – Formal Consultation

At the 5th Regulatory and Compliance Sub-Committee on the 17th November 2015 the following byelaws were made for the protection of whelk fisheries:

  • Eastern IFCA Permitting Byelaw
  • Eastern IFCA Whelk Byelaw

Eastern IFCA will be applying to the Minister for Defra for confirmation.

 

Formal consultation now open

Eastern IFCA is holding a formal consultation regarding these proposed byelaws. Comments, support and objections should be made in writing in a letter or by completing the questionnaire (which can be found here) to either of the following addresses.
