All quarterly meetings of the full Authority and its sub-committees are open to the public. Prior notification of attendance is not required but might be helpful as some venues have restricted accommodation. Anyone wishing to give prior notification of attendance to secure a seat can do so via e-mail to mail@eastern-ifca.gov.uk
It should be noted that members of the public can be excluded from meetings under section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 for agenda items where confidential information will be disclosed in breach of the obligation of confidence. In practice this applies for some agenda items at meetings of the Finance & HR sub-committee and for most, if not all, of the agenda items at meetings of the Wash Fisheries sub-committee and the Wash Appeals sub-committee.
