• Lincolnshire County Council 1995 to present

After 7 years’ apprenticeship in Marine Engineering, inclusive of service in the Royal Navy, I joined the family business of John H Turner Fish & Shellfish Merchants: founded in 1891 (Grimsby).

After leaving I became self employed, retiring (?) at 55.

Elderly but not senile (my words)!!
