Deadline to become an IFCA member extended

The Marine Management Organisation (MMO) has extended the deadline for applications to become an IFCA member. The new deadline for applications is 28 February 2023.

Exciting Opportunity to Participate in the Management of Inshore Fisheries and Marine Conservation

This is part of a national recruitment campaign by the MMO to fill current general member vacancies across each of the ten IFCAs and to create a reserve list for upcoming vacancies. These voluntary roles are open to individuals who are able to take a balanced approach to caring for our seas by assessing priorities and considering the needs of all sea users and stakeholders.

The MMO are  accepting applications from both current general members who are nearing the end of their ten-year term as well as those former members who have left having already served a ten-year term.
