Guidance which explains the Domestic Seafood Supply Scheme (DSSS), the types of projects that can be funded and how to apply is now available.

The Domestic Seafood Supply Scheme (DSSS), managed by the Marine Management Organisation (MMO), was set up to help seafood businesses increase the local supply of seafood to domestic markets.

As well as helping to increase the supply of local seafood to domestic markets, the grant funding will help to increase consumption of locally caught seafood in the UK .

The £1 million grants scheme will help to support the fishing and fish processing sectors affected by Covid-19 pandemic.
