i-VMS rollout for under 6m vessels

The MMO has announced that it is beginning the roll-out of iVMS devices for vessels under 6 metres. Fishermen with a vessel under 6 metres can now order an approved device and are eligible for grant funding to cover the costs. The deadline to reclaim costs for the under-6 fleet is 18 December 2023. Claims can made as soon as a device has been paid for, as evidence of installation is no longer required to make a claim.
