Latest cockle, mussel and water quality research reports in new format

EIFCA use evidence-based decision making in their fisheries management and the research team help to gather this evidence. The EIFCA research team publishes a research report each April that details the results and conclusions of research conducted throughout that financial year.

This year, the team have published a number of individual project reports rather than compiling them into a single publication. The most recent reports detail the results of:

Publishing reports separately will enable greater flexibility as to when reports can be published and allow readers easier access to specific reports.

Further reports detailing the acoustic surveys monitoring Sabellaria spinulosa reefs in the The Wash and North Norfolk Coast Special Area of Conservation and the crustacean and fin fish projects will be published in the coming months.
