Wash Mussel re-laying fishery 2023 bed closure

The Toft mussel bed is closed as of 02:00 on 23 June 2023. The mussel removed has reached the Total Allowable Catch for the bed and is now closed to ensure that the density of mussels does not fall below 25 tonnes per hectare.

Exemption holders will be provided with updated charts showing the areas open to the mussel relaying fishery.
