Cromer Shoal Chalk Beds MCZ Update: Stakeholder Newsletter and 2023 Interim Research Report Now Available

The second issue of Eastern IFCA’s MCZ newsletter has now been published and is available online through the following link: Eastern IFCA Update: Cromer Shoal Chalk Beds MCZ (Issue 2, May 2023). The newsletter contains the most recent highlights in relation to management and research under the Adaptive Risk Management approach.

Alongside this, Officers have compiled the 2023 Interim Research Report, which summarises in greater detail the research work developed by the Research and Development Task and Finish Group and undertaken by the Authority to inform Adaptive Risk Management in Cromer Shoal Chalk Beds MCZ. The report covers the progress made over the last two years, shares findings that have been made so far and discusses the focus for further work over the next couple of years. This work is available on our website and can be accessed here: 2023 Interim Research Report

If you have any questions on the work discussed in this report please do not hesitate to get in touch. Alternatively, we will be holding a short Q&A session at the next MCZ Stakeholder Group meeting on the 31st of May 2023 from 6 – 8 pm on Zoom. To attend the meeting, please get in touch with Sue Ranger via email at Sue.Ranger@mcsuk.org
